RING CLEANING
We get asked this question daily...literally; “What is the best way to clean my ring?” There are many different ways to clean a ring....and we mean many! People use soap, detergent, alcohol, toothpaste(yes and they will scrub harder on their jewelry than on their own teeth!) and the list goes on.
So what do
recommend as the go-to way to clean a ring?
Well....we happen to like the good old hand scrubbing with a toothbrush as a great option.recommend using it for your good scrubbing. However, we also do like the idea of the ultrasonic cleaner. The only caveat to an ultrasonic is it cleans by vigorously shaking the jewelry in a solution and usually with heat. We don't mean shaking like doing the twist! You almost don't realize the vibration, but intense enough that very small diamonds can tend to shake loose. So something to just be aware of. It's not a deal breaker by any means, but we do need to mention it.
