An automated screen can flag a question worth asking. It cannot make the whole buying decision. Start with the report, then bring the actual diamond into the conversation.

Look at the extracted characteristics and the tool’s proportion and quality indicators. Missing information needs a follow up. It is not a pass.
Bring the output, listing, price and available images to Josh or Rob. A buying recommendation needs the whole picture.
Ask for human review →The tool works from the data it can retrieve or read. Poor uploads, missing fields and extraction mistakes affect the result. Check every extracted value against the original report.
A price indicator is not a guaranteed sale price, a live offer or an insurance valuation. A proportion score cannot establish actual light performance.
A report also cannot show that the stone delivered to you is the stone described. That requires checks on the physical diamond.
Our preferred natural round starting screen uses table 56 to 58 percent, depth 60 to 62.4 percent, crown angle 34 to 35 degrees and pavilion angle 40.6 to 41 degrees. We also look for Excellent polish and symmetry and none to faint fluorescence.
These are YDG screening preferences. They are not GIA pass rules, a guarantee of beauty or a formula for ovals, emerald cuts and other fancy shapes.
See the full review methodReport measurements summarize a diamond. They do not describe every facet or show the diamond moving in light. That is why the visual evidence still gets a vote.
Send the listing, report, price and the question the screen raised.
